Chapter 17: Monster

Schierke!  One of the best things about the new Berserk series is that we finally get to see her animated.  Definitely one of my favorite characters.  I've really been enjoying the new series as a whole.  It's been so long since I've read the manga chapters that are covered in it that I don't even remember what happens, so it all feels fresh to me.

In fanfic news, "MNB: Requiem for Youth" Chapter 17: Monster is done!  Didn't take me super long to write, but it sure did take me a while to come up with a plan for it that made sense from all angles.  When you've got some of the strongest characters in the series involved with each other, things get complicated.  I'm happy with how it turned out, though.  Hope everyone enjoys it!

And with that, we've finally made it to the final batch of chapters for "A Midsummer Night's Beauty".  Four chapters and the epilogue remain, and that'll be it after an entire decade of working on this story.  First and foremost, I need to jot down all of the remaining events and divide them up into chapters.  Also need to get any lingering details set in stone, which I'm sure there are more than a few of.  After that, we'll get rolling on the planning for Chapter 18, which is the chapter I've been looking forward to the most for a long time now.  It's also by far the most complex chapter remaining, so once that's done it'll be smooth sailing to the end.

In the meantime, I've got some writing to do for a thing unrelated to fanfics, but that should only take a week or so to finish.  During and after that, I'll be continuing to come up with ideas for "Capture the Heart" Extra Chapter 6.  I know what I want to do with the chapter, it's just a matter of coming up with the little details and deciding on one or two things I'm torn on.  I don't know how long it's going to take, but if it takes too long, I may start on the next Ranma chapter first.  We'll see what happens.

Anyway, that's all for now.  I'll keep everyone updated about how things are progressing and what's coming next once I've got it figured out.  Enjoy the new chapter, and thanks for reading, as always.  'Til next time.
